Brothers and sisters, sometimes in our lives we wonder why we are not moving forward in the way we should. What I mean is I was literally standing still in my spiritual walk. Then one day it came to me when I was praying: The old hard ground needs to be broken up in my life. For God to use me in his service, old unsolved things in my life like unforgiveness, abuse as child, broken marriage, money and thievery from family members of my fathers’ estate. So when we pray, we must examine ourselves and break up the fallow ground our lives. We must sow with righteousness (Hosea 10:12) so that we may reap according to his kindness and grace knowing that it is time to seek the Lord. Biblical expression is to repent and soften hard hearts so we will be prepared to receive God’s righteousness by faith (Mathew 13:12). This means to clear your heart of weeds and evil habits so that we can plant the seeds of righteousness and reap accounting to his kindness. It is time to seek the Lord. May we sow with a view of righteousness.
