My name is Lettie Haynes, and for over 40 years I have worked with underserved communities throughout the greater Los Angeles area.

Several years ago, I had a dream that stayed with me. In the dream, the Lord showed me a vision of Black men dressed in black suits, white shirts, and black ties, each holding a Bible. There were millions of them, standing in straight lines like an army, unified and determined.

Then I heard the Lord say, “I am bringing the Black men back to me. Will you help me call them back?” He revealed that their absence had not gone unnoticed, and that He alone holds the power to call them home.

That vision became a calling on my life.

The Word says “Write the vision and make it plain…though it tarries, wait for it; it will surely come and will not delay.”
