HOME COMING

Brothers and Sisters, this story is like so many others. How young boys and girls fall through the cracks of life. The reason why I bring this story to you is an example of positive change. My daughter Mary called me from her job one day. She told me that her nephew had been locked up for murder. At that time, he was sixteen years old. I remember when I first I met him he came by, with his grandfather. His cousins Lisa and Rose which, are my grandchildren, grew up together. My impression of him was good. He was a good-looking young man, small in stature. His mother Pam was single parent with five other children. This worried me and so I went to the Lord about it. The Lord told me that if me and Mary pray for him, he would be all right. I told my daughter Mary she said yes. My daughter loves her stepsister and nephew so. She agreed and we started that day lifting him and his mother up in prayer. Her nephew names Timothy. I’ve learned that the prayer of a righteous man prevails much. The God we serve is just and He will do just want he say he would do. Twelve years later, Timothy was finally released from prison. He went in as boy came out a man. God still has a plan for his life. Me and Mary’s job was to pray for him and for all young boys and girl to grow up under God protection.
