Brothers and Sisters, we are at Luke 13. 18-12 learning about Repentance is not perfection but change of direction where you are going one way and change. we are talking about the prodigal son there were two sons and youngest asked his father for his portion of his inheritance. And the father gave to them and not many days later the youngest son left and when to the far country. where he spent his money on riotous living then came a Famine in the country. The Son began to be in want and joint the citizen of that country and he put him in field feeding the pigs. And would fain have filled his belly with the husks of the swine and ask to be given the food of the pig to eat for no man gave unto him. He was so hungry at he said gave the pigs food and he did eat. He squandered all his inheritance, and he came to himself he said how many hired servants do my father have and bread enough to spare and I perish with hunger. He made a decision to repent is change of heart and mine and go back to his father house and ask for forgiveness. The son said I will ask my father to make me a slave and I will work for him. But father seen him far off and ran put his arms around his neck and said bring the robe and ring and kill the fat calf. For my son was lost and now found and they had party. Isaiah 53-6 We are all like sheep going astray and our own way but God in his mercy on our sins and laid them on Jesus.
