Brothers and Sisters, we all want a good relationship with God and just to able call Him day or night in other words 24/7. The Word said this is possible when we follow His instructions, but we must follow God, not man (Genesis 3:1-3). When Adam and Eve were in the garden, God told them not to eat of tree of good and evil. God told them if they did, they will surely die. They did not listen to God but to the serpent that was in the garden. The serpent lied to them and told them they would not die. They didn’t obey God and was put out garden. In a sense, Satan came against the very nature and character of God when he maligned him by saying God did not want the best for Adam and Eve. This is the same thing that happens to people today. Satan tell us the same lies today to not follow God. Satan tells us lies like “we will not be happy” and “you will be boring and just died.” By the time we realize that Satan has come to kill, steal, and destroy, we fall prey to drugs, alcohol, self-indulgences, success in job and other things we tried that doesn’t fully satisfy us. Sadly in the end, people realize they have destroyed their lives and health.
