Brothers and Sisters as we move through 2020, we may think things can’t get any worse. The coronavirus has caused people to be out of work and buildings to closed down. The man across from my condo has coronavirus. His wife told the ambulance drivers when he recently had to be taken to the hospital. Now I have to make sure my family keep their masks on when leaving my condo. It is important to always be careful because we live close together and we use the same doors sometimes. Brothers and Sisters, we must continue to pray for all people. Doctors, nurses, healthcare workers, teachers, etc. Black men and women are losing their jobs at higher rate than anyone else. With the presidential election coming up, people at the top are going crazy. The bible speaks of principalities in high places. Brothers and sisters, no one has our best interest at heart. We must pray for God to bring love into the world. Its like slipping down a mountain and not seeing the bottom. Black men are getting shot in the back and kill at an alarming rate, and black women too. Some black women are disappearing never to be seen again because of human trafficking. So as we move in the spirit, we must stand on God’s word. Like God told Samuel, don’t look at their faces or stature.
1 Samuel 16-7
