I hope you have a very happy Mother’s day. When I think of my mother, I know she was a strong woman. She had eight children, including me. My mother was a good mother and loved her family. My mother love her children. How do I know? You could see it her eyes. My mother had dark brown eyes. They told every thing about her, if she was happy or sad, even fearful. My mother was a good storyteller. Her eyes again would move back and forth and voice would change as it progresses. She would tell how it was living in Oklahoma City growing up with her mother and father. We would sit for hours listing to her tell stories. Her mother was half Indian and her father came from Africa. If you ask me what she did in her spare time, she used it for helping people and praying for them. My mother gave me things to cherish and remember. At the end of the day, I am happy on Mother’s Day. Thank you Mother and I will forever remember your big brown eyes.
