I am God’s helper. When we look through the Bible, God has a lot of helpers. God starts training us long before he calls us for his purpose. For me, I was in my Marriage and Family class in Junior College. My professor started talking about how health care would be the job of the future. For example, how God called Moses from the back of the Mountain. He had prepared him long ago. It said in the Bible he prepares us before he sends us out. Moses was God’s helper. Anytime we are working for God, we are His helper. My parents were God’s helpers with raising me and my siblings. My Mother would constantly remind me that God was always there on our side. She taught me how to listen to the voice of God through reading the Bible and prayer. My pastor, Bishop Noel Jones, is God’s helper. God planted the seed in our hearts before we were called. All of this is for God’s purpose. The word has to accomplish what it was sent out to do. All the great Prophets were God’s helpers. We are all God’s helpers in one way or another. When we hear that small voice or feel that pull on our hearts, we must answer. The Prophet Jeremiah said “it’s like fire shut up in my bones” (Jeremiah 20:9).
